C. Diane Bishop (born November 23, 1943) is an American politician who served as the 16th Superintendent of Public Instruction for the state of Arizona as a Democrat from 1987 to 1995.[1][2]

Biography

Bishop was born on November 23, 1943 in Elmhurst, Illinois. She served as Arizona's 16th Superintendent of Public Instruction as a Democrat from 1987 to 1995. She succeeded Carolyn Warner. Bishop was succeeded herself by Lisa Graham Keegan in 1995.
