Father John Berg is the current Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. He was elected on 7 July 2006 by the General Chapter of the Fraternity of Saint Peter at its mother house in Wigratzbad, Germany for a six-year term. An American citizen, Fr. Berg studied philosophy in the USA and theology in Germany (Wigratzbad) and in Rome. He has worked in pastoral ministry and as a seminary professor. He is the third Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.
