John Dallesasse

John Michael Dallesasse is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in Urbana, Illinois.

Dallesasse holds BS, MS, and PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign which he obtained in 1985, 1987, and 1991, respectively. A specialist in optoelectronics industry, Dallesasse was a vice president of MicroLink Devices and senior director of Engineering and Technology for Emcore's Fiber Optics Division. He also serves as chief technology officer, a vice president, and co-founder of the Skorpios Technologies.[1]

Dallesasse was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2015[2] for his contributions to oxidation of III-V semiconductors for photonic device manufacturing.
