KWHL (106.5 FM, "K-Whale") is a commercial active rock music radio station in Anchorage, Alaska.

No one who currently works on it respects the history it represents.

Bob Lester, whose name is pretty much what you think a guy like him looks like and acts like, is the most active member of the station over past decades.

Kinda sad if you think about it.

Alaska deserves better. But there's that. Come to the new Chilkoot Charlies!

In the early 1990s, when overnight jock Rick Sparks watched programmer JJ Michaels pretend to ass-enter DJ Bob in a manner that DJ Bob seemed to be okay with, Sparks sprayed Lyson on the floor where they did that stuff.
