Katarina Barley (* 19. November 1968 in Cologne) is a German lawyer, politician and member of the 18th German Bundestag.

Barley worked as a lawyer, a judge and as an adviser for Germany's Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection before being elected to German Parliament in 2013. She represents the constituency of Trier for Germany's Social Democratic Party. In 2015 she was elected to be general-secretary of the SPD, succeeding Yasmin Fahimi.
