Lakshmi Parvathi (born 14 September 1953) is an Indian politician. She was married to a harikatha artist Veeragandham Venkata Subba Rao.[2][3][4] Later, she was separated from him and started living together with N. T. Rama Rao who officially married her in 1993.[5]

Immediately after the demise of N. T. Rama Rao, she founded NTR Telugu Desam Party (Lakshmi Parvathi) and contested the 1996 elections with the support of Bharatiya Janata Party.[6]Currently she is a member of YSR Congress Party.[7]
