"Green Rain" is a pop-R&B song performed by the South Korean boy group Shinee. The song and its instrumental version were released as a double-sided digital single on June 28, 2013 under the record label of S.M. Entertainment and KT Music. "Green Rain" was the second soundtrack for the MBC TV drama series The Queen's Classroom to be unveiled, preceded by "The 2nd Drawer" by Sunny. It was also used as the ending theme-song for the series.[1]
Music video
On June 20, 2013, a preview of the accompanying music video of Shinee's "Green Rain" was uploaded on the official channel of S.M. Entertainment on YouTube. It featured the members of Shinee dancing with the younger cast members from the TV drama series The Queen's Classroom.[2] This was followed by another preview revealed on July 5, 2013, which also depicted some of the dramatic scenes from the series.[3] The back stage production footage was also released on July 29, 2013.[4]
