Gary Schwartz (born 1940) is an art historian and publisher who is an authority on the art of Rembrandt. In 2009 he received the Prince Bernhard Cultural Foundation Prize for the Humanities.[1]
Schwartz was inspired to study art history after taking an introductory course under H.W. Janson.[2]
