Oswald Bruno Nazareth was a Pakistani high school teacher. He was educated at St Patrick's High School, Karachi. Straight out of school he decided to be a teacher and joined the staff of his Alma Mater.

A keen sportsman, he drafted the constitution of the Pakistan Hockey Federation and was the first Secretary of PHF.

In 1948, O.B. Nazareth was Assistant Manager representing the Pakistan Hockey team at the London Olympics. [1]

Nazareth taught some distinguished students such as Indian BJP President L.K. Advani, [2] former prime minister Muhammad Khan Junejo, former president Pervez Musharraf and chief of the Army Staff Jehangir Karamat. During 50 years of service as a teacher in St. Patrick's High School, his students included cardinals, archbishops, bishops, priests, prime ministers, federal & provincial ministers, chief justices, judges of the supreme and high courts, chiefs of the armed forces, industrialists, and sportsmen.[3][4]

In September 1986 the ex-students of St. Patrick's High School organised “A Tribute to O.B. Nazareth” held at the Hotel Sheraton and attended by 500 students and their spouses. The group called Nazareth “one of the most popular teachers of his time”.

He died in Karachi in April 1998.

On May 6, 2011, The Old Patricians (former students of the school) presented the O.B. Nazareth Gold Medal to the top student from the Science section at the closing ceremony of the 150th anniversary of the school.[5]
