Norwood is an unincorporated community in Franklin County, Kansas, in the United States.
History
The town was named after Henry Ward Beecher's novel Norwood: or, Village Life in New England.[1]
A post office was opened in Norwood in 1868, closed in 1870, reopened in 1871, closed again in 1872, reopened in 1874, and closed permanently in 1914.[2]
