JNG-90 is a bolt action sniper rifle used by the Turkish military. Development of the weapon first started back in 2004[1] to 2008.[2] It is also being offered for export.

Its nickname is Bora.[2]

History

MKEK began development of the JNG-90 in 2004. It made its public appearance in 2007 during the IDEF 2007 exhibition in Ankara, Turkey.[3] JNG-90 prototypes were seen equipped with German-made Schmidt & Bender telescopes.[4]

Design

The JNG-90, according to MKEK, was said to be accurate in terms of shooting 0.3 MOA groups at up to 100 meters range.[1][3] Picatinny rails are provided on the forend and on the upper receiver. The rifle also has an adjustable buttstock.
