The common mora, goodly-eyed cod or ribaldo Mora moro is a small deepwater fish, the only species in the genus Mora, found worldwide in temperate seas, at depths of between 300 and 2,500 m. Its length is up to about 80 cm.

The common mora is similar to other cods, except it has two anal fins, large eyes, a well forked tail, and easily lost scales.

The colour is grey-pink above with a white belly and reddish fins.
