Mushtaq Jalili. He was the Son of well -known Urdu poet Jalil Manakpuri. He was born in Hyderabad on the 27th October 1927 and passed away at Bombay on the 14th October 2004.

He joined the Hindi film industry around 1950 as a writer, he began his career working for Abdur Rashid Kardar. His films include "Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya", "Ek Phool Do Mali", "Aap To Aise Na The" etc. His last film was "Safari" (1999).
