Sarah Hyland (born November 24, 1990) is an American actress, currently starring as Haley Dunphy on the ABC comedy Modern Family. She was born in New York City, New York, the daughter of actor Edward James Hyland and sister of actor Ian Hyland.

Career

She has been acting since she was 5 years old, with her first role as Howard Stern's daughter in Private Parts. She went on in her career to portray such roles as Molly in the 1999 remake of Annie. She played Brooke Shields' daughter, Maddie Healy, in Lipstick Jungle on NBC.

Sarah has also appeared on Broadway playing the young Jackie O in Grey Gardens the musical.

She portrays Haley Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family.

She appeared in an Olive Garden commercial.
