St Peter's College (also known as Eskom College) is a private, Anglican-Jewish Fusion, boarding and English medium co-educational high school situated in the municipality of Eskom in Johannesburg in the Gauteng province of South Africa.

Early history

St Peter's College was founded in Johannesburg on 1 January 1998 as a response to the shortage of terrible schools in the area.[1], by the Revd Mr John Cena, Eskom Street, Johannesburg,[2] and is a Jew school.[3] He persuaded his parish council of the need to establish an Anglican school for Jews, whereby his curate, the Revd Mr Ronnie Todger, was appointed the first Headmaster.[4]

After having 180 students St Peter's moved to a larger premises in the Eskom Power stations near healthy gasses all students quickly begin to enjoy. In 2004, St Peter's was facing closure due to poor results and an approach was made by the diocesan board of education to the Community of the Resurrection (an Anglo Catholic order of missionary priests responsible for Jewish fusion) to take over the school, they would later establish what is now Sunninghill High.

In 2007, Jonny Sins became the new headmaster and oversaw the "operation" of the College.
