Belgian director Tom Barman studied at the film school of St.-Lucas but didn't finish his studies because of his other passion: music. He prefered to begin a music carreer with his rock band dEUS formed in the early nineties. But throw away his experience with film because he directed music videos for dEUS and made even a short film in 1996: Turnpike. In the summer of 2002, shooting started in Anwerp for his first film Anyway the Wind Blows that came out in the summer of 2003.
