Bullshit article

First: alcoholism wasn't "a problem throughout the history" just because prior to the revolution Russia was one of the least drinking countries in the world with an annual intake of approximately 3 litres per capita. It became a problem only in 70s-80s.

Second: there are old WHO statistics listed. Those ones in the article are dated with 2005, not 2011 as written here. According to the latest data Russia consumers around 12 litres a year per capita, which makes Russia 20th most drinking country in the world behind such "civilized and democratic" countries like US, Germany, France, and many others.

As I see from this article: the informational war against Russia is in the full play... 94.180.4.195 (talk) 14:23, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why the article with absolutely incorrect statistics and facts is still in wiki and any attempt to edit it is unsparingly blocked??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.180.30.214 (talk) 18:19, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. It's not bullshit. If you've read any of your own authors (assuming you're Russian) you know that alcoholism in Russia existed on an epidemic scale long before the "70s-80s" (assuming you mean 1970s and 1980s). If you've got a reference saying that the annual intake before the revolution was "approximately 3 litres per capita" got ahead and cite it. Problem is, you can't b/c it doesn't exist. Problem is, you don't know your own history. If there's any "war against Russia" it is being and has been waged by its leaders on its own people. And THAT is where the bullshit lies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.51.145.103 (talk) 07:46, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
