Tenure with Yankees

It lists his tenure non-contiguously as 2004-2013, 2015-2016. His contract with the Yankees included 2014 despite his suspension. The way it is omitted feels like it suggests he retired and came back. 73.202.135.41 (talk) 07:13, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete grammatical nonsense: "Rodriguez responded in court documents that ... allegations of his "extramarital affairs" be stricken from court records." Rickmoede (talk) 19:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: That's not grammatical nonsense. JTP (talkcontribs) 23:55, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguous dates

The first paragraph under the heading "Biogenesis baseball scandal" refers to August 3 and "for much of the summer" without specifying a year. Apparently it was 2013, but I had to look elsewhere to confirm that. (The next paragraph does mention August 5, 2013, but someone unfamiliar with the events wouldn't know for sure whether that was 2 days or 367 days later.) 2601:642:C201:C240:76DE:2BFF:FEE4:D2DA (talk) 00:57, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership of Timberwolves

Paragraph one currently reads: "He is also an owner of the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s Minnesota Timberwolves." This is incorrect. Rodriguez is in negotiations for purchase of the team, but the sale is still pending at this time. According to ESPN, a minority owner has filed a dispute and "A vote of the NBA's board of governors is still required to give final approval of the sale to Lore and Rodriguez." https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/31516790/pending-sale-minnesota-timberwolves-no-limitations-moving-franchise-new-city I recommend this sentence be either deleted or changed to "Rodriguez is currently in negotiations to purchase the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s Minnesota Timberwolves."

Section:2007,4th paragraph ADDITION Where it says:Rodriguez became the youngest player to reach 500 homers (32 years, 8 days). Following sentence (ADD): He surpassed the nearly 67 year record held by Jimmie Foxx, who hit his 500th home run at 32 years, 338 days during the final week of the 1940 major league baseball season.

Thank you and have a good day.2601:581:8402:6620:304C:CD3D:3958:6A95 (talk) 12:08, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 02:33, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is in Reference#80, the ESPN article about Rodriguez breaking Jimmie Foxx's record as the youngest MLB player to accomplish that feat. Jimmie Foxx is mentioned in that article as the previous holder of that record. Place my request (sentence I requested above) before that reference.(#80) Thank you for your time.2601:581:8402:6620:304C:CD3D:3958:6A95 (talk) 14:51, 24 June 2021 (UTC)@RandomCanadian:[reply]

Yankee record of 6 home runs in a single postseason is between Alex Rodriguez, Bernie Williams, and Giancarlo Stanton. Paulfromlic (talk) 05:37, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ––Sirdog9002 (talk) 05:50, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
