European System of Financial Supervision
I edited the article to include the new financial supervision authorities: the EBA, ESMA, EIOPA end the ESRB. I think they can be considered agencies since they are independent supervisory bodies. --Ale86tv (talk) 12:54, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Frontex
EU-website states that Frontex is in fact Third Pillar Agency [1], [2]. I've reverted the change. Maartenvdbent 23:12, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- error of EU-website, see: [3]. Maartenvdbent 00:07, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
But why is it there and not in the third pillar? Has somebody INformation on that? It sound rather weird to me, since it is clearly about police and judicial cooperation very much like Europol is. Derwaechter 07:58, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Tasks assigned to Frontex were originally in scope of the third pillar but in the Amsterdam Treaty part of this pillar (including external border controls, asylum and immigration) was moved to the first pillar – it's now in title IV of the Rome Treaty. --Filemon 10:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also the EU website now states it correctly :). Maartenvdbent 12:26, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi Maartenvdbent! You would not have any idea where I can find the old version of the EU Websites that stated it incorrectly? Derwaechter 18:07, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
FVO
Is the European Food and Veterinary Office under a a diff. name? Did it change or has it just been created? It exists and has a website (/fvo) but I though we had them all on this list. - J Logan t: 19:40, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
FVO is not an agency —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.35.143 (talk) 15:27, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Color-coded list
While it's not a bad idea to color-code items on this list, it's not a good idea to rely only on the color-coding since this may not be accessible to color-blind users or those relying on screen-reading software. So the text should be written in full as well as the color-coded key. Purgatorio 16:43, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

List: add country
Perhaps in the list, there should be a column for the country in which the agency is based. – Kaihsu (talk) 18:49, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Map
The map is wrong, it's missing Hungary. (It hosts the EIT) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.168.63.65 (talk) 18:50, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Vigo symbol
Hi, everyone. I'm not very experienced with editing on Wikipedia, so I wanted to make a suggestion in case someone can help. The list of decentralised agencies lists an agency in Vigo without a coat of arms / symbol for Vigo. It should be this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vigo#/media/File:Coat_of_Arms_of_Vigo.svg
Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.18.232.205 (talk) 19:53, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
Crowded map
The map of agency locations has become very crowded with labels often overlapping each other. Any ideas for improvement? Liam McM 16:48, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
I agree. We could do several small improvements to alleviate this a bit:
- Pick a map that is 'zoomed in' on a smaller part, cutting away everything east of Cyprus and north of Finland and adjusting zoom level accordingly.
- Making the map bigger. The resolution of the base map allows for this, but I don't know if this requires manual alignment of all the agencies.
- Manually moving labels away from each other and placing arrows or similar.
