The discussion revolves around Cox's attempts to edit Wikipedia's entry on MSNBC host Keith Olbermann to make it more politically neutral (a stated goal of the site) and to include facts that were left out. Cox contends that his changes were continually discarded by fans of Olbermann who monitor the article, seeking to ensure that it reflects their liberal views

I'm not a rouge [sic] editor, I'm an admin and I imagine that I know the rules here better than you do. This is a WP:BLP and any new addition that is objected to requires WP:CONSENSUS. Poor formatting is evident at the very beginning of the content where you start a sentence November 2020 after the 2020 election... In that paragraph, you then go on to make the comment Olbermann’s racially charged comment in Wikivoice. I see lots of poor sourcing from WP:NYPOST and WP:FOXNEWS. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:11, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
