Sources about Prime Produce

Hi! I am a member of the Prime Produce Apprentice Cooperative (PPAC) and was delighted to be informed by members of Wikimedia NYC that someone has started a wikipedia page about our group! Being very closely associated with the organization, I am going to maintain an appropriate distance from editing our page directly, but I was advised that I could jump in here to support editors' research on the topic.

Here is an article authored by a former member and co-founder of the cooperative, where the cooperative is discussed as one example of technologies and tools for social organization of space: https://urbanomnibus.net/2019/09/tools-of-collective-intelligence/

The publication is the official online publication of The Architectural League of New York (https://archleague.org/about/)

Here is an article from 2015 from The New Yorker magazine about the founding and mission of the cooperative in the context of guilds as a model for collective enterprise: https://www.newyorker.com/business/currency/the-new-guilded-age (This article has also been added by a different editor than created the article.

I will try to find other notable sources that may be informative for editors working on the article. Thank you! Wileycount (talk) 20:03, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a piece by Sideways Manhattan for which they interviewed one of our co-founders and give some more overview of the project: https://sideways.nyc/discover/7pc3FrQNMp0mF9hopRo7dV/prime-produce Wileycount (talk) 00:05, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sideways Manhattan would be considered a blog per Wikipedia so we can't use that as a source. I'll be happy to look at the other sources though. Incidentally, the "View history" tab is where you'd find who started any article, but you did the right thing by involving as many eyes as possible by writing as you have here and not appealing to me on my Talk page! Incidentally, PP is hosting a Wikisalon this Wednesday, which is how I got the idea for creating the article. You and your fellow cooperators can attend to learn to edit other articles then!--Jacobin 357 (talk) 20:38, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for this helpful info! I've received sage guidance from the WikimediaNYC crew thus far. Very excited to be learning more about editing! 74.113.161.154 (talk) 01:03, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This was me again, not logged in on my current chrome instance. Wileycount (talk) 01:03, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, so you saw the new note at the top of the article. In the interest of time, could you paraphrase what's being said in the Architectural League of New York blog about Prime Produce? I don't have time to read it thoroughly to add. thanks--Jacobin 357 (talk) 18:51, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
