Doyle Bright (born September 4, 1961) is an American heavy metal singer and guitarist. He is best known for being the vocalist of the band Rigor Mortis and guitarist of the band Hallows Eve. He is the founder and owner of the band Special Ops Group and currently is a guitarist and lead vocalist for that band.

Early life

Doyle was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 4, 1961. He started playing for various punk metal bands across the United States.

Career

Rigor Mortis (1989–1991)

In the March of 1989, Doyle accepted an offer to join the heavy metal band Rigor Mortis.[1] Bright was on the vocals in the EP Freaks, as well as the album Rigor Mortis vs. The Earth. Rigor Mortis later disbanded in 1991.[2]

Hallows Eve (2007–2015)

After Rigor Mortis's disbandment, Doyle joined the Atlanta-based thresh metal band Hallows Eve in 2007.[3] As a guitarist, he played in the album The Neverending Sleep with founding members vocalist Stacy Anderson and bassist Tommy Stewart.[4] In 2016, the album was re-released with Fioga Records.

Special Ops Group (2015-present)

After Hallows Eve became inactive, Bright and other musicians from Atlanta formed the band Special Ops Group (SOG) in which he's the lead guitarist and vocalist. The band is signed with Hollows Eve. Media.[5][6][7] The band is composed of former members of Rigor Mortis and Hallows Eve.[8]
