Overview

DuJour Media is a luxury lifestyle media company, best-known for its print and online magazine DuJour, which serves a highly affluential audience on multiple content platforms.[4][5]

Founded in September 2012 by Jason Binn, who previously founded and sold Niche Media, DuJour Media delivers content to audiences that meet the highest wealth indicators.[6]

DuJour’s integrated media platforms include include a website, app, digital magazine, social media channels, emails and e-newsletters, branded content, influencer events and the BinnShot photography site. BinnShot is housed on the homepage of Getty’s WireImage which provides over 80% of all the images used by media outlets and garner over six million unique views per month.  DuJour Media’s has a total quarterly reach approaching 4 million, and the quarterly rhythm is valued at $2 million.[7]

DuJour Magazine

DuJour Media’s flagship publication, DuJour Magazine, is a quarterly oversized glossy, audited by BPA Worldwide, and mailed directly to over 100,000 readers who meet its wealth qualifiers in the top 10 U.S. markets giving what Binn commonly refers to as a “Glocal” perspective and intimate connection to its’ communities. 

DuJour Magazine also offers seasonal editions for the Hamptons, Aspen, Malibu, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Palm Beach. It sets aside about half the editorial content for local and regional news and events. [8]

Highlights

In DuJour's debut, the cover featured Christy Turlington, who was photographed by Bruce Weber.[6]

Lupita Nyong'o had her first fashion shoot with DuJour and appeared on the cover of the Winter 2013/2014 edition. It ended up being her campaign for the Golden Globes and Oscars debut.[9]

Sylvester Stallone was a cover of DuJour, using it as his Golden Globe photo shoot for Creed.[10]

Jane Fonda was photographed in 2015, talking about her red dress from the Golden Globes.[11]

DuJour.com was been awarded a Webby for Best Home/Welcome Page with an honorable mention for Best Structure and Navigation in 2013, and was YEAR Webby Award finalist for Best Web Magazine.[23]

DuJour was selected as the Best Newcomer in the AdWeek Hot List Readers’ Choice Poll for 2013, [24] and won Hottest Lifestyle Magazine in 2014.[24]

In 2014, DuJour was named among the Reader’s Choice Award Top 10 Covers by the American Society of Magazine Editors. [25]
