Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Gautama Buddha in Hinduism has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://tipitaka.wikia.com/wiki/Samyutta_Nikaya. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:06, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notice. I tried to fixed the link because it doesn't work. But I guess the automated bot thought it was a spam. I just tried it again without adding any links! I just thought it would be convenient for people who wanted to read the books and suttas mentioned. But it is not really that necessary.

Discussion

It would be more appropriate for you to offer up your suggestions for improvement for discussion before making radical changes. I find the changes you have made to Buddhist cosmology to be tendentious, reflecting personal and/or sectarian opinions rather than the source material. You have also simply deleted material for no apparent reason. It seems that you, wittingly or unwittingly, are promoting a sectarian agenda, which is inappropriate for Wikipedia articles, however regrettably common. I wasn't aware that there is a particular person that I am supposed to contact before editing. I would be glad to discuss it with someone. But when you are undoing all my work, you see my name and my talk page there. It looks like this is not the first time this was done to someone. I suggest that you at least notify others of your dislike before undoing it. The article was fine the last time someone else did it. Now foreign language was place in front. It is too difficult for people to understand like that , that's why I felt the need to edit it. Simpliciti (talk) 18:05, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
