Disruptive editing

Hello, HueMan1,

Please stop emptying categories out of process like you did with categories involving Maguindanao. Editors have the option to revert all of your edits when someone does this but I wanted to post a warning notice to you first. It is not correct to remove all of the contents of a category (for what reason?) so that it is tagged for speedy deletion. If you believe that a category should be deleted, renamed or merged, you need to nominate it at Categories for Discussion to see if there is a consensus to do this. Other editors who know an awful lot about category and category history should be able to discuss this situation with you and come to some consensus after reviewing your argument.

If I see this done again, I will need to give you a block so please, do not do any more recategorization on your own that empties out categories, use CFD from now on. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:31, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
