Vian Dakhil

Vian Dakhil is a current member of the Iraqi parliament. The only Yazidi in the Iraqi Parliament, she gained international attention during a plea for assistance for Yazidi people trapped on Sinjar Mountains during Islamic States' capture of Sinjar, accusing Islamic State of genocide against the Yazidi people.[1]
