Philip Hiromitsu Nozuka (born June 5, 1987) is an American-Canadian actor/performance artist.
Life and career
Philip Nozuka was born in Queens, New York City to a Japanese father, Hiromitsu, and an American mother, Holly Sedgwick. He is a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts for Musical Theatre and the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal where he studied acting.[1][failed verification]
Philip is also the nephew of musician Mike Stern, Leni Stern, Kevin Bacon (by marriage) and Kyra Sedgwick (his mother's half-sister).
For film and television Philip is best known for his appearances on Degrassi: The Next Generation where he played Chester, and Disney’s Aarone Stone where he played Freddie.
Nozuka appeared in David Cronenberg’s 2012 film Cosmopolis, where he played Eric Packer’s (Robert Pattinson) currency analyst Michael Chin.
He als got a role in Carrie (2013 film).
