RPSIT is an Engineering and management college in patna,the state capital of Bihar.It was founded by Late.R.P.Sharma.

History

The Institute was founded as Patna Institute of Technology by Late Prof. R P Sharma.(founder of Patna Educational Devlopment Trust) in 1980.It was affiliated from Magadh University till 2008,recently it got affiliation from Aryabhatta Knowledge University,patna .

Campus

The campus of RPSIT is spread over 10 acres of land in Patna,situated on 'west Bailey Road' near Saguna Road in Danapur. This location has many colleges and schools of Patna Educational Devlopment Trust.It is oldest Private owned Engineering college in Bihar and first in Patna.

Departments

Admission

Admission to undergraduate courses is made on the basis of merit in a competitive examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.[1] Bihar Domicile students are eligible to appear in this examination.

Library

The college has very well planned library containing all important books and regular magazines to help out students ,to stay connected with the external world.
