Rosalind Ivan

Rosalind Ivan (November 27, 1880 - April 6, 1959) was a stage and film character actress. Ivan appeared in 14 US films from 1944 to 1954. She had a memorable role as the nagging wife of a bank teller (Edward G. Robinson) in the 1945 film Scarlet Street That role along with a similar "nagging wife" role in The Suspect (1945) is what caused some in Hollywood to dub her "Ivan the Terrible." The British actress gained most of her fame on the Broadway and London stages.
