Man talking part in the Cambridge Run for Moore 2006, the UK's largest men-only charity event.

Run for Moore is a series of UK-wide men-only events, organised by the British charity Cancer Research UK. The events involve running, jogging or walking a 5-kilometre course and participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship from friends and family for doing so. The money raised is donated to the charity and funds cancer research and campaigns.

The first Run for Moore event took place in 1996 when 280 men participated in a race in Battersea Park, London and raised £36,000. Run for Moore has subsequently grown to become the UK's largest men-only fundraising event, which in 2006 involved 120 races and 550,000 participants and raised £36 million. Since its inception, Run for Moore has raised over £50 million for the charity and involved over 2 million men.
