The first Wikipedian meetup in Ohio is currently being brainstormed. Columbus was the original suggested location, but the meetup would ideally take place wherever is best for the most editors (from Ohio and the Midwest). A date can be established when a consensus on a location is reached.
Location
Following is a list of potential locations. Feel free to add suggested cities (or pros & cons of each) to the list, as well as potential venues.
- Columbus is the state capital and is centrally located.
- Cleveland is near the Pennsylvania border, which could attract Wikipedians there.
- Cincinnati could also also easily accommodate editors in West Virginia and Kentucky.
