William Edward Koenig (born August 17, 1956) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as bishop for the Diocese of Wilmington in 2021.

Biography

On May 14, 1983, Koenig was ordained to the priesthood. Pope Francis appointed Koenig bishop for the Diocese of Wilmingtom on April 30, 2021.[1] [2] [3] On July 13, 2021, Koenig is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop.
