The Willie Colón discography presents the recording of a man who is a strict passionate member of the community with an extraordinary sense of integrity to catalyze and preserve American life within the highest order.[1] Colón is the most important producer musician of the movement and fully responsible for exporting the Salsa genre into Puerto Rico, Mexico, South America, New England, Europe and North America from the streets of New York City: Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Harlem.[2] Willie has also been committed to raise the standard of life for every single Nuyorican living in New York through the art of american politics, urban planning, international relations and social responsability.[3] Willie Colón appears on over 47 recordings as a composer, performer, producer, arranger and engineer.
