Wivenhoe Cross is a suburb of the small town of Wivenhoe, Essex, England. It was once a separate settlement to Wivenhoe. there was Wivenhoe Village on the banks of the River Colne and Wivenhoe Cross, on the higher ground to the north, but with considerable development in the 19th century the two have merged. It is located on the B1028 road (Wivenhoe Cross).
