Wankendorf is a municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approx. 24 km south of Kiel.

Wankendorf is also the seat of the Amt ("collective municipality") Wankendorf, which consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

  • Belau (344)
  • Ruhwinkel (1.055)
  • Stolpe (1.337)
  • Wankendorf * (2.968)
