Career[edit]

Horn attended West High School in West, Texas, and played college baseball at McLennan Community College and Auburn University.[2] He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.[3]

Horn made his professional debut in 2021 with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. On July 29, 2021, the White Sox traded him to the Chicago Cubs for Ryan Tepera.[4] Horn was added to the 40-man roster following the 2023 season. On February 27, 2024, Horn was traded back to the White Sox in exchange for Matthew Thompson.[5] He was optioned to the Triple–A Charlotte Knights to begin the 2024 season[6] and on April 26, he was designated for assignment.[7]

On April 30, 2024, Horn was traded to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for cash considerations. He was subsequently optioned to the Triple–A Worcester Red Sox.[8] He was promoted to the major leagues for the first time on June 28,[9] and made his debut the following day, against the San Diego Padres.[10]
