The College of Engineering & Management, Kolaghat was set up in September 1998 as a technical school.^[1] Courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.^[2]

The College of Engineering & Management, Kolaghat is spread over 32 acres of land located at KTPP Township. The college offers full-time engineering programs leading to a four-year B.Tech. degree from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
