Aisha Sani Maikudi, a Nigerian Academician, Professor and a legal expert, serves as a youngest female law professor at the University of Abuja. Currently she is the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of University of Abuja. Her expertise lies in International Law, with a focus on Company Law and United Nations Law. Aisha has mentored students at both undergraduate and graduate levels and has authored numerous articles in her specialized field. Furthermore, she holds the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) overseeing academic affairs at the University of Abuja. Her accomplishments have earned her notable recognition, including the distinction of being Nigeria's youngest law professor and the sole female law professor from the North West region.[1][2][3]

Maikudi completed primary school at 10 and secondary school at Queens College, Lagos, by age 16 in 1999[4]. She continued her education in the United Kingdom, completing her A Levels at the Cambridge Centre for Studies and earning a Master of Laws (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her educational journey underscores her dedication to rigorous academic standards and the pursuit of knowledge across borders, laying the foundation for her contributions to law and academia in Nigeria.

She is the Current Vice-Chancellor of University of Abuja[5]. She is a lawyer by training and founded her own company, Lawmaik Investment Limited. This suggests she has professional experience practicing law and now runs her own legal services firm.[6]
