Biography

[edit]

Amin Moafi studied towards a medical degree, He then stood as an independent parliamentary candidate for Brent East 2024 parliamentary election.

He mentioned in democracy club website

"I support establishment of Palestinian state and I'm against attacks on Yemen. My experience campaigning in politics spans over 7 years. Due to the major parties' stance supporting attacks on Palestine and Yemen, I stepped down and chose instead to stand as an independent. I also disliked how our local area was decaying year after year, with dirtier streets, increasing anti-social behavior, and higher costs of living plunging people into poverty. I felt that change doesn’t come from electing the same politicians who got us into this mess; change comes from someone different—an independent candidate who brings fresh perspectives, innovative solutions, and genuine representation, fostering a more responsive government free from party politics. my policies include:
-Artefact: Returning stolen artefacts to country of origin upon their request.
-NHS staff: Make parking at work permanently free for all NHS workers.
-Affordable Homes: Building Affordable homes using government funds.
-NHS: Protect the NHS against NHS privatisation.
-Cleaner streets: Have cleaner streets with more cleaners."
