Joel Diamond is an American record producer.[1] He has produced 36 gold and platinum recordings and had over 54 recordings on the Billboard charts.[2][better source needed]
Diamond grew up in Passaic, New Jersey, and graduated from Rider College (now Rider University), where he majored in business and psychology.[3] Diamond started his professional career as the head of MRC Music, publishing division of Mercury Records, through a series of "being in the right places at the right times."[4]
He lived in the Penthouse at 220 Central Park South,[5] before he married Rebecca Holden[6][7] in 2015.[citation needed]
