- 20:2920:29, 12 July 2024 diff hist −4 List of common misconceptions "Pass gas" is a euphenism (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch#Euphenisms) and should therefore not be used commonly, since "passing gas" could mean multiple things (maybe to go past steam?), and it might be unfamiliar to some English speakers. It also sounds redundant to say "pass gas to expel gas". Plain language is not inappropriate on Wikipedia, though.

Here is my rant though: I detest this language because it is too comedic for the serious matters that it is meant to express. I have a feeling that this language will too be censored by social media.

Is there original research in this new paragraph? I do not know. The source says that he can be seen in the arena, not that he can be seen during a scene with the arena. But okay.
