  • 17:0017:00, 24 January 2024 diff hist −15 PixarEd Catmull and Alvy Ray Smith (me) are the cofounders of Pixar. Steve Jobs was not. He was our principal funder but not a cofounder. I have proved this in one of the three first footnotes. You can also see further details in my book A Biography of the Pixel Tag: Manual revert

  • 04:4404:44, 23 December 2015 diff hist +154 PixarSurely it's a foul to remove documentary evidence from this site. I've put the documentary proof of Pixar cofounders back. Jobs claims he's cofounder first in 1994 when Pixar is 8 yrs old!
  • 04:1804:18, 23 December 2015 diff hist +313 PixarIf you're going to summarize, please do it correctly. George Lucas was never a cofounder. He was a seller. Steve Jobs was never a cofounder. He was our VC, or "Investor" in the founding documents. John Lasseter was one of 38 founding employees.

  • 20:1720:17, 10 August 2015 diff hist −1,482 Pixari deleted all the footnotes that reference late documents rather than early documents. The first time Jobs claimed cofounder of Pixar was the 1995 IPO prospectus, where he also claimed he had been CEO of Pixar since its founding. Both wrong.
