Matt Shadetek is a Producer and DJ born, raised and currently residing on Manhattan Island, in New York City.

He produces New York Tropical, Grime, Dubstep, Dancehall, Hiphop and International Crunk Wierdness.

He is co-founder of Dutty Artz, a record label, web site and multimedia tropical storm along with DJ /rupture.

Previously he has been a member of Team Shadetek along with Zack Shadetek. The duo released the album "Burnerism" on Warp Records and "Pale Fire" on Sound-Ink, along with a number of mixtapes and vinyl singles and EPs.

He also released the acclaimed "Heavy Meckle" grime mixtape with Berlin's DJ Sheen, and London's Jammer, Ears and Neckle Camp. Having resided in Berlin for a number of years he is now based once again in Manhattan.
