Awantipur badodia is located in sahajapur it's located between indore and bhopal it is over 1000-1500 year old it is referred as the land of the lords (devo ki bhumi) it is quite a local religious hub home to 3 main temples the first one being garib nath temple which was created over 757 years ago and in starting of sawan (rainy season) it big pillars are taken down and over 10-20 thousand people visit it in the start of the rainy season and their is a big carnival for 10-30 days also second temple being sidaswar mahadev which is over 807 years old and has a lot of history and the third is lal Bai ful Bai which is a Hindu godness maa annapoorna temple every year a sawari is rode trough the village and thousands of people attend it.t.
