The Oak Ridge barnstar
Presented Orlady for all her great work on Oak Ridge and /Manhattan Project-related topics in hope she stays around Wikipedia and doesn't go back to dmoz! --A. B. (talk) 19:22, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

The Working Man's Barnstar
For tireless edit after edit after edit after... G'on - you deserve it! Natasha Amazing (talk) 09:45, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

The Invisible Barnstar
To someone who is an incredible asset to the Wikipedia community in character and contributions (over 16,000 now) and receives little to no recognition. Here's to you! Eustress (talk) 17:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

The Original Barnstar
The original barnstar is bestowed upon you for your remarkable efforts in the field of unaccredited schools, notably the Elim Bible Institute and Columbia State University. gidonb (talk) 19:51, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
You grabbed the ball on List of city nicknames in the United States after I had made a start on sourcing while the article was at AfD. You have diligently added sources and kept this article -- a frequent target of vandalism -- in line, making constant additions and improvements. This is just one of many articles where I have seen your patience and persistence in improving articles by the addition of reliable and verifiable sources. This honor is richly deserved. Congratulations! Alansohn (talk) 22:16, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
For kindly doing what was necessary (without any prodding) to get Buckskin Joe, Colorado to DYK status. Without your edits, the Wikipedia community would not have learned about this interesting piece of americana history. Truthanado (talk) 01:12, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

The Copyeditor's Barnstar
Thanks to your efforts and others, List of Texas A&M terms is now a WP:Featured List. Thanks for all your help! — BQZip01 — talk 07:02, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

The Two Sides of the Story barnstar

[edit]
The Half Barnstar
There are two sides to every story ...
The Half Barnstar
... always. doxTxob \ talk

Orlady, let me award you this barnstar to show my appreciation of your controversial opinions. I have combined the two halves to the Two Sides of the Story-Barnstar just for you. Please do not understand this as an insult, it is meant as a compliment and in appreciation of your efforts. Different opinions is what brings Wikipedia (and the rest of the world) forward if the controversy can be resolved in a civilized manner. The two halves combine to an entity and that is what is important. Left and right, up and down, north and south, east and west — what would one be without the other? Thank you, doxTxob \ talk 06:05, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Diligence
I'm awarding you this barnstar of diligence for your combination of extraordinary scrutiny, precision and community service to wikipedia. South Bay (talk) 03:51, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

The Working Woman's Barnstar
I award this barnstar to two fantastic lady editors JamieS93 and Orlady for their participation in vetting other contributors' DYK suggestions at Template talk:Did you know.

The high-visibility work of frequently contributing DYK articles often gets recognition, but the lower-visibility work of vetting other contributors' DYK suggestions at TT:DYK (something that makes the DYK process "go") often go unnoticed. JamieS93 and Orlady: thanks for your work that makes the DYK process "go". AdjustShift (talk) 17:18, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Integrity
While participating in the DYK nom discussion of Palestinian Land Laws, Brewcrewer was amazed at your objectivity and utmost fidelity to reliable sources. He therefore decided that at the very least you are deserving of the Integrity Barnstar. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 16:53, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

The Editor's Barnstar
Thanks for your edits to Interoperable Communications Based Signaling. They are an excellent improvement to help our Wiki readers understand this topic. Truthanado (talk) 14:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

The Admin's Barnstar
Many thanks for the mostly thankless job of keeping articles clear of spam and other nonsense, particularly in the "askgeo-mapzones" spam case. Wikipedia is a better quality project because of hardworking Admin's like you! --Hu12 (talk) 18:35, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

The Working Woman's Barnstar
I award this barnstar to an editor who not only worked diligently to help make the Spoon River College article better, but went so far as to begin correcting a related article on student housing. In addition, she took the time to offer guidance to an newer editor to help him in his writing. When most would have simply posted a tag or banner, she got down to business by working on solving problems. IlliniGradResearch (talk) 15:59, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

The Original Barnstar
Many thanks for your work involving state legislators-RFD (talk) 22:55, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Little Red Schoolhouse

Nice find on that "50 Favorite Places" book. :-)--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 23:17, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. After finding that book and adding some info to the article, I was ready to abandon the half-finished job. However, your nice compliment induced me to finish using info from that source (and a couple of other source) to expand the article. Now I've nominated it at DYK. ;-) --Orlady (talk) 04:03, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Glad to hear it. :-) When I created the Morris article, I had no idea what the "Little Red Schoolhouse" was. Now I do. Gotta love Wikipedia.... Here, have an Eastern Barnstar. :-) --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:37, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

The 100 DYK Creation and Expansion Medal
Well its a real pleasure to award this to you Orlady. Lots of schools, colleges, women and the occasional fungus have added to the communal wealth. Can I thank you on behalf of myself, the DYK project and the wiki. Well, I liked the humour at WT:DYK, even if Blethering Scot did not! I can't really attest that you "consistently lighten the mood", but you made me laugh in amongst a string of petty attempts to dodge the blame, so I think you deserve this regardless. Harrias talk 20:33, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
