About Me

British citizen. MEng (1991) and PhD degrees (1997) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Birmingham, UK. Professional career focussed on radar systems, Passive radar, multilateration systems and more generally in air defence, formerly for the UK MOD and latterly for NATO. Other professional interests include signal processing, tracking and estimation and more recently tactical datalinks and the exchange of real-time tactical data in networked environment. Program regularly in Java and Mathematica - previously have also used Fortran, IDL, PVWave and Matlab. Hobbies include playing the violin, English concertina and Border Morris dancing. Grew up in Ullingswick. Currently living in Wassenaar, The Netherlands.
