From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The title card of a Donald Duck short film; the design is typical of those used in Disney shorts during the studio's partnership with RKO Radio Pictures (1937-1954)

This is a list of animated short films produced by Walt Disney and Walt Disney Animation Studios from 1921 to the present. It includes films produced at the Laugh-O-Gram Studio which Disney founded in 1921 as well as the animation studio now owned by The Walt Disney Company, called the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio (1923), The Walt Disney Studio (1926), Walt Disney Productions (1929), Walt Disney Feature Animation (1986), and Walt Disney Animation Studios (2007).

This list does not include:

A gold star (Academy Award) indicates an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, while a silver star (Academy Award nomination) indicates a nomination. The column headed "DVD Release" contains DVD releases in the United States, although the "Walt Disney Treasures" collection is also available in the United Kingdom.
