King Tiger is an upcoming Indian comedy drama film, directed and written by Alphonse Puthren. Produced by Kalpathi S. Ganesh, the film casts Suriya and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles. In addition to writing, editing and directing the film, Puthren also worked on the stunt choreography, visual effects, color grading and animation titles of the film. This marks as Alphonse Puthren's directorial debut in Tamil cinema and Kriti Sanon's debut in Tamil cinema with Suriya. This is the remake of the Kannada film Raja Huli which stars Yash.
Initially set for worldwide theatrical release during Christmas in December 2022, King Tiger has been deferred due to post-production delays. And is expected to release by Pongal 2023.
