The Value of Emotions in Artists' Lives (Persian: ارزش احساسات در زندگی هنرمندان) is the title of an article by Nima Yoshij that was published in 1940 in the Journal of Music. In this treatise, Yoshij seeks to justify and propagate the ideas of his modernist school by looking at the literature and art of European nations and briefly introducing the philosophical and artistic views of a number of different philosophers, writers, and artists. For this reason, at the same time as the first edition of these articles in the Journal of Music, Yoshij published poems such as "Quqnūs" in the same Journal.
