Bene Finance is Australia's first consumer neolender, issued with an Australian Credit License 510805 by ASIC in Late 2018. Bene is currently in the process of applying to become a consumer neobank or Australian Bank issued with a RADI license by APRA[1][2].

Headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, Bene was founded by Simon Beitz and Craig Fenwick in 2018.

Business and Products

Bene is building its products on Cloud-based Infrastructure.

The first product launched by the Bene, Personal Loans, is changing the way Australian's can borrow money. Bene introduces simplicity and transparency in personal loans removing unfair fees, like the early repayment fees. Bene is a responsible lender.

History

The Australian banking regulator, APRA, created the new RADI licensing framework on 4 May 2018 to encourage new entrants and competition to the existing banking system.
